Florals 101 – Ice Queen

It’s Third Thursday a Picket Fence Foundation! Shake off the winter gloom and step into something bright, sparkling, and joy-filled with our Ice Queen floral design class. This month’s design is all things frosty elegance: a cool, modern arrangement that brings a little magic to the heart of January.
You’ll work with a stunning palette of icy whites, frosted blues, and shimmering silvers, building an arrangement that feels like it’s been touched by a winter spell. Think white roses and mums, blue thistle for that icicle-sharp interest, silver dusty miller for soft and frosty texture, shimmering branches and glittered accents to add drama, and an added snowflake pick or decoration to bring the whole design together.
This class is relaxed, hands-on, and a perfect way to break up the monotony of midwinter. You’ll learn simple techniques for layering texture, creating dimension, and making your arrangement feel full and balanced, all while enjoying a cozy creative hour that feels like a deep breath of fresh air.
Come play with color, shake off the seasonal slump, and leave with a winter centerpiece that practically glows.
